Watcher uses your Discord identity and role, plus your linked Steam/SCUM identity, to control Command Center access and connect player services to the correct character.
Privacy
A plain-language summary of what the Outpost X systems store and why. This is intentionally short and practical.
Player services
Purchases, rentals, airlifts, insurance, rewards and related transaction/history records are stored so Watcher can verify delivery, reconcile failures and give players/admins an audit trail.
Movement & maps
Watcher stores detailed movement samples for Tactical Map, Watcher Trace, squad goals and staff DVR features. Detailed movement used by Tactical Map, Watcher Trace, squad goals and staff DVR is kept on a rolling 30-day retention window. Server wipes do not clear that window; older full-resolution movement is automatically deleted after 30 days while longer-term summary and admin records may be retained.
Community content
Player Shops, Player Lore, squad listings/goals and optional birthday month/day are stored when players choose to use those features.
Support tickets
Private support tickets and transcripts are used by staff to resolve issues. Closed ticket transcript records are maintained for operational support and are subject to the ticket system's retention controls.
Site usage
Command Center usage analytics are first-party aggregate counts of which sections are opened and whether the visit was mobile or desktop. They do not use Google Analytics or another third-party analytics service.
